Week 4 Points!

* I had some compassion this week and decided not to dock any points for being late because most of you were! I'm hoping it had something to do with Father's Day!...but, it's your only freebie!

Four weeks down, 6 to go! How are you guys doing? Have you lost any weight, noticed any changes, feel healthier?? So, keep trying! We all have really busy lives and can think of plenty of reasons why this might be too hard. But, remember how important it is to be healthy, how you can be setting a good example for your kids, how you want to look better in a swimsuit, how much you want this money, and how good it is for you to teach your body that it is NOT in charge of you. Tell life to get out of the way because your health is important to you (and really...none of this competition takes up more than 45 minutes of your day...and it can be split up in intervals)! This is not a diet, it is a checklist for a healthy lifestyle. Keep it up, you guys! It's awesome to see so many 60's all the time! You are inspiring to me! We really SHOULDN'T be seeing anything below 50...seriously. So, try hard! If you are going to do something, do it well...right??! Let's all try to have better scores next week!

Remember to post any of your fab tips here, it really helps to get ideas from each other! Thanks to those who have!

- Mariel

Here are the scores: I'm missing Julie Yamane and Kim Kindall still.

Yes! I have lost weight and I'm feeling a lot heathier. I'm really enjoying the way I feel. I think my kids/husband are enjoying it too. I totally agree with you Mariel. This competition is not the easiet thing by any means, but it's nothing I can't handle. Even with my busy life and my air headnesses I have managed to follow the rules enough to fit into my clothes again. Thanks for the inspiration, I'm going for 60 points this week...watch out!

I'm with Paula. I have lost about 5 lbs so far, but I feel different too. I really can make it through life without sugar. In fact Sundays I get sick of eating sugar and I can't even eat that much. I Love the fact that I am able to take time out of my day to exercise and do something for me. LOVE this!

Empowering! Awesome! I love hearing that you feel better doing this...and have lost weight! Now, remember this feeling that you have so that you can fall back on it when you're in a slump.

I'm the same...I was a huge sugar junkie. I wanted desserts for breakfast, lunch and dinner...so I feel super powerful being in control of that now. I like having rules for myself rather than "anything goes"...or "I'll just try to be good".

On Sunday, I made this butterscotch bread pudding and had a couple pieces throughout the day. Anyway, I got a serious stomach ache and I was so happy! I have never been happy to have a stomach ache before. But, to me it meant that my body wasn't liking what I ate and I knew exactly why. That is an extra incentive for me to go easy on the sugar...and I need all the incentives I can get!
